To address this we have updated our locations database with a much more complete, updated version.

This will allow readers to find news sites for all cities and ZipCodes.

For Example ZipCode 08844 now properly gets you sites for Hillsborough, NJ.

Thumbnail images (like the example to the left) will give potential readers more information when searching and choosing the best hyperlocal news sites. This will allow readers to more quickly see the quality of the sites.

 

We chose SiteThumbShot to provide the images. It will take a few days for all the images to be generated and they will automatically show up as they are rendered.

No. Hyplo.com is a fully moderated directory. Only sites that meet our strict standards will be accepted.

3. Does Hyplo.com accept any type of hyperlocal site?

No. Currently we are only accepting hyperlocal news sites. Likely in the future we will add more categories.

4. Does Hyplo.com accept international sites.

No. Currently we are only accepting US locations. This might change in the future so stay-tuned.
